Pete the Cat

Who doesn't love some Pete the Cat?  I know the kindergarteners and teachers at our school certainly do! The kindergarteners in our school had an AMAZING literacy night.  They read-sang a few of his books. And boy did we have fun with my little kindergarten guy!

This is one of our kindergarten teachers.  She rocked the microphone!

The little guy with a tie is my baby.  He was so stinking adorable!

Here's a pic of the k teachers talking about the standards the Pete the Cat books cover.  Pete was also standing there with his groovy buttons.

And here is my little guy with his teacher at the end of the program.

Sport Stacking

Today our school joined the WSSA to break the record of the most peope sport stacking at multiple locations in one day.  All students participated today during their specials period.  Here are a few pictures of my students sport stacking.

Mrs. Summer's and I joining the other first grade students.

Here are a couple of students having a blast!

We had a surprise visitor at our school today . . . Pete the Cat.  He (She)  joined us for our kindergarten program.
