Earth Day, Palm Sunday, and Spring Break
Palm Sunday @ my church was wonderful! Especially listening to this cute guy sing. Josiah is my youngest son. Isn't he adorable?!
I hope your spring break was much warmer than mine! We had about four and a half inches of snow. It was cold! Snow didn't stop my oldest son, Mathew, from jumping on the trampoline. Sorry about the bad picture. The battery on my camera was dying.
I have also been super busy working on my first "real" tpt unit. I just uploaded it to my tpt account. You can take a preview of my unit by clicking on my tpt link on the right hand side of my blog. I can't wait to use it in my classroom. I will upload pictures of some of the activities that go with the unit as soon as we use it.

Poetry
Our Poet-Tree. My bulletin board area is very small
so I had to cram our tree by the door. We read Fancy
Nancy Poet Extraordinaire!, by Jane O'Connor.
Then we wrote a poem on "leaves."

Classroom Pictures
Bulletin board outside my classroom.
The front of my classroom. We have blackboards,
so . . . I covered them with material. I hang all
things to it using magnets. You can buy a roll of
magnets very cheap. Looks so much cuter than a
blackboard.
When you enter my classroom. My boys are off to
the right side, playing on the computers.
This is where I display all of my student work. It is
pretty bare because, I just sent lots of work home
today. Target had an owl theme in the children's
bedding. I got this owl clothesline from that area.
It's super cute. No stapling! Just clip your cute work!
My transportation notes area. The
canvas board is from Hobby Lobby.
You can actually write on it with a
dry-erase marker.
Word Wall
Math Tubs, I couldn't find a tub that was a different
color for my fourth tub. Boo!
The listening center. On the table is a picture frame
with plain white paper. I write my objectives on the
frames. It is really simple to erase the glass.
Guided reading group area. I love my bucket seats.
My mother-in-law made them. The material on the
seats match my curtains. My books are in the
background. The wall has my CAFE and Daily
Five info.
A picture of how my library is sorted.
A closer view.
Math tub rotations
My spelling board.
Many of the items in my classroom were purchased
from the School Girl website. You can go on her website
and purchase many cute themes. You can download
most of the items. Of course some of the polka dot
border is from the teacher stores.

Easter
Working on some Easter math fun.
My "Eggsellent Fact Families" printable I created. I had a bag of plastic colored Easter Eggs. Each egg had a number on it.Students chose their numbers to make a fact family, by using two numbers that equal the number on the egg.We had an "eggsellent time!" Link to the free printable coming soon . . .
